We're big on sharing our stories in the Collective! By sharing our lived experiences we help other moms in the room to be able to raise their hands and say "me too." Lainy W. shared her story last week on her 5 year soberversary, and ended with this powerful message for other moms:
"These last 5 years haven’t been without challenges, but it’s been worth it. I’m so grateful that at 36 I began to get to know myself. I learned what I like and what I really don’t. I moved my family across the country. I made it through 3 job layoffs. I've become very involved with my girls’ school and after-school activities. I’ve taken on new hobbies, become a part of this sobriety community, fallen in love with things I never knew I would enjoy, and connected with women all over the country.
This is what true freedom looks like.
Sobriety gave me wings. My sober sisters helped me learn to fly."
